Description:

Patients: This trial involved 10 patients with relapsed glioblastoma. There were 4 men and 6 women, and the median age was 45.

Treatment: The treatment consisted of two chemotherapeutic drugs: methotrexate and cyclophosphamide.

Toxicity: Toxicities were not reported in this study.

Results: The median overall survival was 6.9 months. Since the progression-free survival at 6 months was 0%, the study was prematurely closed. The authors concluded that the treatment was not effective for this population.
