Description:

Patients: This Phase II study involved 43 patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer. Twenty-nine were men, and fourteen were women. The median age was 61 years. Thirty-five had stage IV and seven had stage III.

Treatment: The treatment consisted of two chemotherapeutic drugs: docetaxel and cisplatin.

Toxicities: Grade 1-4 toxicities include neutropenia and leukopenia. Grade 1-3 toxicities include anemia and thrombocytopenia.

Results: The median survival time was 10.8 months (47 weeks).
