Description:

Patients: This Phase II study involved 21 eligible patients with disseminated metastatic melanoma. The median age was 58.

Treatment: The treatment consisted of a form of chemotherapy, vinorelbine tartrate.

Toxicity: Grade 3 toxicities included neytopenia, fatigue, abdominal pain, and arthralgia.

Results: There was one toxic death due to febrile neutropenia. In addition grade 4 toxicities included neutropenia, granulocytopenia, leukopenia, dyspnea, and fatigue.
