Description:

Patients:
This study included 10 male urothelial cancer (of the bladder and upper urinary tract) patients who had previously been treated with methotrexate, vinblastine, adriamycin, and cisplatin. The median patient age was not provided.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agents gemcitabine and paclitaxel.

Toxicities:
The maximum toxicity reported was grade 4 thrombocytopenia. Grade 3 neutropenia was also reported.

Results:
Median overall survival was 10.3 months.
