Description:

Patients:
This phase 2 study involved 48 metastatic urothelial carcinoma patients who had been previously treated with platinum-based chemotherapy. The median patient age was 66 years and 40 were male.

Treatment:
Patients were treated with the chemotherapy agent called nab-paclitaxel.

Toxicities:
The most severe toxicities were of grade 4 and included grade 3-4 pain, fatigue, and nerve toxicity. Grade 1-2 alocpecia was also reported by 71% of patients.

Results:
The median overall survival was 10.8 months.
